WPTDeepstacks Brussels kicks off this week

By Mad Harper

The popular WPTDeepStacks Brussels event will be back at Grand Casino Brussels Viage this week with a fantastic week-long festival featuring 10+ events.

We have tons of great hotels in Brussels so why not take the chance to visit Europe’s capital as well as enjoy some Deepstack poker!

Along with the €1,100 Main Event the schedule also includes a €2,200 High Roller, a €3,000 Platinum event, €300 PLO Turbo and the €400 Viage Poker Cup.

Action gets underway today (Monday) with the multiple re-entry €400 Warm Up 8-max. The flagship €2,200 High Roller is a two-day affair starting next Wednesday with single re-entry option. There’s a €250 satellite for that on Tuesday evening though if you don’t fancy ponying up the full buy-in.

The Main Event starts March 8 with three start flights in total – Day 1a on March 8, Day 1b on March 9 and a Day 1c “Fast Chance” Turbo at 10pm on March 9.

The last WPTDeepstacks Brussels was in November with French pro Laurent Polito winning the Main Event for €90,000. Polito has a staggering record at WPT events including a victory in four WPT National events since 2013 – in Cannes, Paris and Brussels – totalling more than €370,000. He also won the PMU.fr WPT National Paris High Roller in November 2015.
